Param Sidhu Wins Fast Fade at 2026 The Big Barber Bash Brisbane

Brisbane Fast Fade champion Param Sidhu has taken out one of the most technical categories at The Big Barber Bash, delivering a clean, high-pressure performance in front of a packed crowd.

Param is 23 years old and based in Tweed Heads. He currently works at Invincible Barbershop, which he also owns, and has been in the barbering industry for around five years.

His winning look was inspired by the local style he sees in his own community, blended with a modern Australian influence to create something wearable but still sharp and detailed.

“It was inspired by my city and the kinds of haircuts people normally get there,” Param said. “I wanted to blend that with a modern Aussie look — something that stands out but is still clean and wearable.”

Competing live brought a mix of nerves and excitement, with the Fast Fade category pushing speed, precision, and focus under pressure.

“It was amazing — high energy and definitely nerve-wracking, but in a good way,” he said. “Being around that level of talent really pushed me to perform at my best.”

For Param, the win is a significant milestone in his career and a strong confidence boost.

“I want to keep refining my skills, enter more comps, build my profile, and keep learning from others in the industry.”
