Will Bradshaw Takes Out New Gen at 2026 The Big Barber Bash Brisbane

18-year-old barber Will Bradshaw has claimed the New Gen competition title at 2026 The Big Barber Bash in Brisbane, marking a standout moment early in his career.

Based in Woolloongabba in Brisbane, Will is currently working at OurWay Barber Studio and has been in the industry for three years. Still early in his journey, he’s already focused on building both his technical skill and industry presence.

His winning look was influenced by barber and educator Andrea Amighetti, drawing inspiration from his work on Instagram and adapting it into his own interpretation on stage.

“To be honest, I was looking at Andrea Amighetti’s portfolio and took inspiration from his page,” Will said.

Competing live at The Big Barber Bash came with unexpected pressure, but also a strong sense of opportunity.

“It was really good. There were a lot more people than I expected and I ended up getting more nervous than I thought I would,” he said. “But it was great to network and see the industry all in one place.”

For Will, the win is an important early milestone.

“It was really good to get my name out there and show off my skill set.”

Despite the result, he’s already focused on what’s ahead, with education at the centre of his next steps.

“There are a few things in the works, but education is the main focus at the moment. I’m looking at launching that soon.”

Will’s win highlights the strength of the next generation coming through the Brisbane barbering scene — technically focused, inspired, and already thinking beyond the chair.
