Early Bird registrations for The Big Barber Bash (TBBB) 2026 close on 28 February, marking the final opportunity for industry professionals to secure discounted access to the inaugural national tour.
Launching across Brisbane (7 April), Melbourne (12 April) and Perth (13 April), TBBB has been developed as a new platform for accessible barbering education, structured competition and industry connection.
Founded by Carmelo Francese of Inspire Brands, the event responds to growing demand for practical, high-quality learning opportunities delivered locally rather than interstate or overseas.
Each city will host live demonstrations, career-focused discussions and three competition categories — New Gen, Freestyle and Fast Fade — providing both emerging and established professionals with the opportunity to test their skills in a live setting.
Organisers position TBBB as part of a broader commitment to strengthening professional standards and supporting workforce development within the barbering sector.
Early Bird pricing, including Ultimate Package options, remains available until 28 February. Standard pricing will apply thereafter.

Melbourne: 4pm–11pm Sunday 12 April 2026, The Third Day
Perth: 3pm–9pm Monday 13 April 2026, Enclave

Competitions
Each event will host three competition categories (maximum 20 competitors per category):
New Gen – 30 minutes to create a complete look (under 21s)
Freestyle – 40 minutes to deliver a fashion-forward look
Fast Fade – 20 minutes to create a precision fade and styled top
To compete, participants must:
- Purchase a Competition Entry Package
- Provide their own model
- Purchase an additional Competition Fee & Model Ticket to enter multiple categories
